This Privacy Policy explains what information NexBible may collect, how it is used, when it may be shared with service providers, and how to contact us with privacy questions.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the NexBible mobile and tablet app, the NexBible website, and related support communications.

2. Information you may provide

  • Account information such as email address, display name, profile photo, and authentication provider.
  • User-created content such as highlights, notes, favorites, reading progress, reading plans, devotional progress, notebooks, journals, and related media.
  • Files, images, voice input, prompts, and text submitted when using AI, journaling, or import features.
  • Messages you send to us for support, feedback, ideas, or feature improvement requests.

3. Information collected automatically

  • Basic device and app information needed for authentication, security, notifications, purchases, and feature delivery.
  • Push notification tokens and notification interaction data when notifications are enabled.
  • Purchase, subscription, entitlement, and AI credit status when paid features are used.
  • Operational records related to sync, uploaded notebook assets, cloud backups, and active Preach sessions.

4. How information is used

  • To create and maintain user accounts and sign-in sessions.
  • To save, sync, restore, and display Bible study content and journaling data.
  • To deliver notifications, AI responses, journal image generation, cloud-backed notebook features, and Preach sessions.
  • To process purchases, maintain credits or premium access, respond to support messages, and improve the product.

5. Third-party service providers

NexBible may use third-party providers to operate core app functionality. Depending on the feature used, these providers may include Firebase, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Microsoft authentication, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Pexels, and Pixabay.

Information is shared only as needed to provide the requested feature, secure the service, process purchases, or store and sync user content.

6. AI and media features

If you use AI assistant or AI image features, prompts, attached content, and related request data may be processed through cloud functions and external AI services in order to return the result.

If you use image search inside journaling tools, search terms and selected image requests may be sent to external image providers to fetch results.

7. Local storage and cloud sync

Some NexBible data is stored locally on the device for performance, offline access, and journaling workflows. If cloud sync is enabled through sign-in, copies of supported data may also be stored in cloud infrastructure linked to the user account.

8. Retention and deletion

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account functionality, support sync, process purchases, or meet legal and operational requirements.

9. Children's privacy

NexBible is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact us and we will review the request.

10. Policy updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the app, service providers, or legal requirements. When material changes are made, the date at the top of this page may be updated.
